Day 40 - Dialogue
A healthy society is one in which those who disagree can do so with honor and respect for other people’s opinions.
Reflection
- We might not always agree with other people, but when we truly listen to what they have to say, we are having a dialogue.
- We say what we think, and then we listen to the other person so we can understand what they think and learn from them.
Action
- Today, find someone who holds a belief different from your own.
- Listen fully to the thoughts and feelings of the other person, then share your own thoughts, feelings and beliefs.
- Look for the similarities in why each of you believe what you do.
“The best way to solve problems and to fight against war is through dialogue.”

“Choose the path of dialogue rather than the path of unilateral decisions.”

“We - what we need is a dialogue among civilizations. And we need multiculturalism, respect for diversity, tolerance, respect for diverse faiths.”
